A really interesting piece, and shows that Brand Valuation may well become standard practice in India.

However, with it comes greater pressure on marketing directors to deliver improved brand performance - both in marketing and financial terms (and ultimately brand value growth). With this in mind (and considering marketing departments typically fund these consulting exercises), it will be interesting to see if Brand Valuation is a fad or is here to stay...
